Warm Audio WA-R64B – Dynamic Cardioid Vocal/Instrument Handheld Microphone for Vocals and Instruments, Black

The Retro 64 reimagines a classic broadcast-style dynamic microphone design from the 1960s and updates the sound profile for the modern stage. Built around a humbucking dynamic capsule, Retro 64 delivers the kind of tried-and-true sound that live engineers rely on night after night: consistent, articulate, and controlled in even the loudest environments. Retro 64 is designed to emphasize the sweet-spot in the upper midrange without squeal or harshness and excellent off-axis control. Retro 64 slots naturally into any contemporary FOH setup, offering the reliable response live engineers expect from a standard workhorse dynamic. Whether on lead vocals, backing vocals, guitar cabs, snare, acoustic instruments, or broadcast duties, it delivers the familiar clarity performers trust, plus the kind of on-stage vibe only a retro-inspired design can bring.

• Retro Look With Stage-Ready Sound: The Retro 64 reimagines a classic broadcast-style dynamic microphone design from the 1960s and updates the sound profile for the modern stage. Delivering a unique combination of vintage styling with a trusted sound profile that rejects noise and feedback, Retro 64 delivers the kind of trusted, tried-and-true sound FOH engineers rely on night after night.
• A Capsule Made For The Road: Retro 64 solves the two biggest problems with live vocal mics: trusted, mid-focused sound, and durability. Retro 64’s capsule is tuned to hit the upper-midrange just right, while rolling off enough highs to keep speakers from squealing - just like the most tried-and-true dynamic live mics. Inside the mic, an internal shockmount keeps the capsule safe for any live environment - mosh pits included.
• Throwback Design, Rugged Construction: The Retro 64 external design is inspired by vintage broadcast mics known for their hammer-like durability, even allegedly strong enough to hammer nails into wood without harming the microphone. Modern construction methods including the addition of an internal shockmount ensure the Retro 64 can handle anything the road throws at it.
