Medeli MK37-OR – 37-Mini-Key Portable Keyboard with USB MIDI and Audio, Orange

Some musical ideas happen at a desk, others happen in the backseat of a car or halfway through a trip—and the right keyboard should be ready for all of them. Compact, lightweight and designed with portability in mind, the Medeli MK37 brings surprisingly deep functionality into a travel-friendly 37-key format. With 200 onboard voices, 100 accompaniment styles, 64-note polyphony and Auto Chord mode, it gives beginners and casual players the ability to create full arrangements from a compact keyboard small enough to fit in a backpack. USB-C connectivity adds even more flexibility, allowing the MK37 to send both MIDI and audio directly into DAWs like GarageBand, Ableton Live, FL Studio and Logic using a single cable.

Portable Design With Expanded Musical Features

The MK37 builds on the compact keyboard concept by adding more sounds, greater polyphony and arranger-style functionality normally reserved for larger instruments. Its 37 mini-size keys provide an approachable playing experience for younger musicians and beginners while still remaining practical for songwriting and travel use. Auto Chord mode allows players to trigger accompaniment and harmonic backing easily, creating the feel of a full band from a compact instrument. With onboard songs, melody-off learning functions, metronome controls and adjustable reverb, the MK37 offers a surprisingly complete practice and creativity platform.

USB-C Connectivity for Modern Music Creation

One of the MK37’s most practical features is its ability to transmit both MIDI and audio directly over USB-C, simplifying recording and production workflows for modern creators. This single-cable setup allows the keyboard to integrate easily with computers, tablets and DAWs without requiring additional interfaces or adapters. The keyboard can also be powered directly through USB-C using a laptop, USB adapter or power bank, making it ideal for mobile music-making and reducing unnecessary accessories. A headphone output, onboard speaker and optional AA battery operation further enhance its flexibility for private practice and portable performance.

A Compact Keyboard Designed to Encourage Creativity

Weighing just over two pounds and measuring less than 20 inches wide, the MK37 is designed to go wherever inspiration happens. Despite its compact footprint, it still provides the core features needed for learning, experimenting and building musical ideas quickly. The simple interface keeps operation approachable for younger users while offering enough functionality to support songwriting and casual production work. For players looking for an affordable, highly portable keyboard that blends educational value with modern connectivity, the Medeli MK37 delivers a creative tool built for music anywhere.
