A solid body that features big sound chambers for enhanced tone and weight reduction. Particularly characteristic tone somewhere between a solid and semi-hollow construction.

6-STRING / 12-STRING

The Double Cat comes in either 6- or 12-String configuration.
Both come in a stunning Catalina Blue finish and our famous pickup combination. The 6-String version additionally comes in black.

PLEK PROCESSED

A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.

 

UNIQUE LOOKS, UNIQUE TONE

THE DOUBLE CAT SOUNDS LIKE NOTHING ELSE.

The Double Cat is made from solid alder featuring large sound chambers. The body is fitted with a flat maple top featuring a Cat Eye styled F-Hole. This distinct construction of a solid but chambered alder body combined with a flat top and a one piece maple neck gives the Double Cat the special tone which musicians all around the world came to love.

The Double Cat is equipped with our proven pickup combination comprising of the classically wound GrandVintage humbucker for the bridge and the smooth and creamy Domino P90 singlecoil for the neck. The middle position of both pickups features our special wiring, which splits certain low end frequencies out of the humbucker signal. This creates an open and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of sounds.

THE DOUBLE CAT COMES IN A 6- OR 12-STRING SETUP.

Both versions feature our unique Z-Tuners that make restringing your instrument a breeze.

Duesenberg Z-Tuners are specifically made to give you a super smooth and precise feel when tuning. They also allow you to elegantly hide the end of the cut-off string inside the tuner shaft so it's not damaging your case, gigbag or fingertips.

THE FRETBOARD IS TO YOUR MUSIC, WHAT THE HANDLE OF A BRUSH IS TO A PAINTING.

It says a lot about an instrument how much care was taken here.

Every single Duesenberg instrument is expertly pleked for buzz-free playability all throughout the fretboard. It is then carefully finished by hand and precisely set up by one of our professional luthiers. The luthier responsible also leaves his or her signature inside the instrument.
